Why SkyTEM

SkyTEM takes pride in conducting sustainable surveys while maintaining good customer relations. This is done through planning, communication and guidance, where we make use of our experience to meet the needs and request for the survey in order to fulfill client expectations.

On the surveys we conduct transient electromagnetic and/or magnetometer measurements as described in TECHNOLOGY. 

SkyTEM ApS employs a SkyTEM system which primarily was designed to map groundwater in sedimentary environments. These geological settings is characterized by small anomalies in the earths electrical conductivity though often representing significant changes in the geology.

After gaining a vast experience in groundwater mapping the activity is equally divided between mineral exploration, and environmental and groundwater mapping. 

 

Low resistivity contrasts The technology of the SkyTEM system is designed so as to have the capability of detecting very low contrasts in resistivity.   Populated areas The interest of e.g. groundwater mapping is often in proximity to populated areas. We have performed many surveys where special considerations had to be taken in order to maintain the safety of the environment and respect the local population.   Logistics SkyTEM has operated with success in very remote areas and logistically challenging parts of the world.
